A place clean, all the waiters and the owners are welcoming, I did not see any single-use plastics or unnecessary waste. It's all home made, products are local and apparently no big resellers involved. Strongly recommended, but make your reservation first. Oh, italian is the language spoken here, get your few words together!

Siamo stati al ristorante Il Girasole a Poggio Filippo, vicino a Tagliacozzo, e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente splendida! La signora che ci ha accolto è stata incredibilmente ospitale e gentile, facendoci sentire subito a casa. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente: le porzioni erano generose, la pasta fatta in casa era fantastica e i ravioli ripieni di ricotta erano delicati e perfetti. Anche la carne, che ha mangiato la mia amica, perche’ io non mangio carne, era tenerissima.Patate al forno buonissime. E come ciliegina sulla torta, abbiamo avuto la sorpresa della ciambella fritta: super soffice e deliziosa! Il servizio è stato rapido e impeccabile. La sala è curata da Carlo, un ragazzo eccezionale e gentilissimo, che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Infine, il prezzo è stato più che giusto per la qualità e la quantità del cibo. Consigliamo vivamente Il Girasole a chiunque voglia gustare piatti casalinghi preparati con cura, in un ambiente accogliente e con un servizio caloroso.Torneremo presto!

Tutto buonissimo! Abbiamo mangiato con gusto, buone le materie prima. Complimenti a tutti, alla proprietaria, allo staff gentile e alla cuoca. Servizio veloce ed efficiente. Vengono serviti tutti i tavoli. Ci ritorneremo. Dopo il pranzo siamo andati a visitare lì vicino il paese di Tagliacozzo. Bellissimo paese ricco di storia, siamo stati nella piazza dell'Obelisco con intorno tanti locali, al palazzo ducale, alle chiese. Consigliatissimo, andateci è stupendo.
